Are we witnessing American sports plummet to their death ? It's not for a lack of interest. Fans consistently flock to stadiums to see their favorite players and enjoy the experience live with the five major American sports leagues averaging 103.6 million attendees annually over the last 5 years ( Sports Business Journal ) .
